YOEO Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
YOEO helps users review menus, labels and food photos for possible allergens. It is an assistive tool and does not provide medical advice or guarantee that food is safe.
Information processed
- Allergen preferences, profile name and optional profile photo.
- Menu, allergen-list, label or food photos selected for analysis.
- Account email and synced profiles when the user signs in.
- Scan allowance, purchase status and app diagnostics needed to operate the service.
How information is used
Photos and allergen preferences selected for a scan are sent securely to the YOEO server and its configured AI provider to produce the requested report. YOEO does not intentionally save uploaded scan photos after the analysis request completes. AI output may be wrong; users must confirm ingredients and cross-contact with restaurant staff.
Profiles and saved reports remain on the device unless the user signs in or chooses cloud features. Supabase provides account and profile storage. RevenueCat and Apple or Google process subscription and purchase information.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared only as needed with hosting, database, AI-analysis and purchase-processing providers that operate YOEO. Infrastructure providers may process technical logs, device information and IP addresses for reliability and security.
Retention and control
Users can export or clear local data in App Settings. Signed-in users can delete their account from Profile → Edit Profile. Store purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google or RevenueCat as required for transactions, refunds and legal obligations. Deleting a YOEO account does not cancel an app-store subscription.
Children and changes
YOEO is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated as the service and its providers change; the updated date above will identify the current version.
